Air Plants

Airplants are often grown on gnarled wood, or shells and rocks to which they are glued for support. The ornamental appearance of Tillandsia and their colourful, exotic-looking flowers make them intriguing and popular plants to grow in the home and conservatories.
Air plants are low-maintenance plants that can adapt to many conditions in your home. Here are some tips for caring for air plants:

Position: Place air plants in bright, indirect light, such as near an east- or west-facing window. They can tolerate some direct sunlight, but too much can burn their leaves.
Keep air plants in temperatures between 50–90°F. Avoid placing them near air conditioner vents or cold windows.
Water air plants by misting them a few times a week, or soaking them in water for a few hours once a week. Let them drain fully after soaking to avoid root rot. If the ends of the leaves start to curl or turn brown, increase watering.
Air plants prefer moderate humidity levels, around 40–60%.
Ensure air plants have good air circulation to prevent rot.

Fertilizer: Fertilize air plants monthly to promote blooms and pups.

Support: Air plants need to be attached to something to grow.

Soil: Never plant air plants in soil.
